Community & Safety

upfield is a small, quiet place to recover alongside other injured athletes. Your circle is deliberately gentle: it's read-only presence plus a single “cheer” — there are no direct messages, so no one can contact you privately. These guidelines explain what upfield is for, what isn't allowed, and how to report or hide someone.
What upfield is — and isn't
upfield is peer support: the human layer alongside your recovery. It is not medical care, not a crisis or mental-health service, and not a substitute for your physiotherapist, doctor, or emergency services.
If you're in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please reach out to local emergency services (for example, 911 in Canada) or a crisis line right now. In Canada you can call or text 988 (Suicide Crisis Helpline), any time. upfield can't provide crisis help.
Be a good circle-mate
Recovery is vulnerable. Assume the best of people, keep it encouraging, and share only what you're comfortable having other members see.
Don't harass, threaten, demean, or target anyone. Don't post other people's private or identifying information. Don't give medical or clinical instructions to other members — leave that to their care team.
What's not allowed
Sexual, violent, hateful, or otherwise harmful content; nudity or sexually explicit images; impersonation; spam or promotion; and anything illegal.
Content that sexualizes a minor is never tolerated and will be reported to the authorities as the law requires.
Reporting and blocking
On any circle member's card, tap the ⋯ menu to Report them (optionally with a note) or to Block them. Blocking hides that person from your circle, and hides you from theirs.
Reports come straight to the upfield operator for review. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these guidelines. You can also reach us any time at georges.boum18@gmail.com.
Your privacy
Your recovery is private by default; nothing is shared until you turn sharing on. During early access, photos you attach stay visible only to you — they are not shown to other circle members. You can stop sharing, or delete your account and its data, at any time in Settings.
